Professor Sabel is a leading neurooncological neurosurgeon in Germany. He focuses on supramarginal resection of infiltrating brain tumours. He is dedicated to neuro-oncological education and has developed a surgical training program for brain tumor resection. Prof. Sabel has published > 200 paper with an H Index of 57. In addition, he has authored several books, one focusing on intraoperative mapping and monitoring. He is also the lead investigator of the prospective randomized GlioVAX trial, investigating the role of dendritic cell based vaccination in glioblastoma patients.
